On this trip we were just passing thru town and only stayed the night. I have been to Minot on several occasions and it is a small city with many restaurants and shopping facilities. It’s a great town for a weekend stay and depending on the time of year, there are great events like the North Dakota state fair, and the famous Hostfest in September.

We didn’t even stay at comfort inn in North Dakota. There was a mistake and the manager refused to refund our money. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. And will never use booking.com again. We were supposed to be booked in Hogansburg ny and they booked us in North Dakota. Then they refuse to refund our money.

Great events for not only adults but children too! State Fairgrounds are great for this. Just enough to have the stores/malls that you need without having to go to a big city. Tried the Pizza Planet with 16 of us including kids and were not disappointed!
